Like A Dino!

For the “Multimédia” course, I embarked on the exciting challenge of recreating the mobile game “Like A Dino!” using the Canvas API and TypeScript. The game challenges players to grow a dinosaur’s neck by catching falling segments in rhythm with music. The gameplay is not only about precision but also syncopation with the accompanying music. Successfully collecting neck pieces yields points, driving players to beat their highest scores. The game provides encouraging messages both when you lose and when you successfully capture a neck piece. As the game progresses, the tempo and speed increase, adding complexity and excitement.

While I couldn’t implement all of my initial plans, working on this project was immensely enjoyable and stands out as one of my personal favorites.
